Standard Single & Double Barn Door Hardware - Bend T-Shape Design
Product Features
- Package includes all the hardware kit you need to install a sliding barn door. Except for doors.
- The barn door hardware can be used both inside and outside. It is rust proof, water proof and fire proof.
- The standard door thickness for our hardware is from 1 3/8'' to 1 3/4''. If your door thickness is not within that range, please go to our second tab called "Customization Services" for more detailed instructions on how to customize for it.
- The spacing between each hole is American standard 16''. Tracks 8ft and under are one single track instead of being connected by multiple shorter tracks. Tracks 9ft to 16ft will be connected by two tracks. Tracks 18ft and 20ft will be connected by three tracks. Therefore, the spacing between the holes in the connecting section may not be 16''.
- Each complete track can hold door weight up to 220 lbs.
- Usually we recommend the track length to be at least double the total door width or the openning. For example, if you have two doors that are each 30'' wide. You will need 2* (30''+30'') = 120'' long track. Or if you have a opening that is 48'' wide, you will need at least 96'' long track.
- The minimum clearance (from top of the door to the ceiling) you need to install this barn door hardware is 6''.

THINGS TO KNOW
Here are some things to know before making your final decision to purchase.

Header Board
Our tracks are American Standard 16" Spacing. The longest one-piece track is 7.5ft. For tracks 8ft and above, multiple tracks are used. A Header Board is recommended for tracks 8ft and above for uneven hole spacing where tracks combine. It is also useful if your opening has trim, as it allows the track system to extend further off the wall to prevent the door from hitting the trim. Spacer extenders maybe used for trim existence too.

Door Thickness
The hardware is compatible with door thickness from 1 3/8" to 1 3/4". If you have a door that falls out of this range, you can purchase shorter or longer hex bolts with the part# provided below. You will see more details about how to choose the correct length of the hex bolts for your doors on the description of the hex bolt product page.

Door Weight
All our hardware kits included the standard black nylon wheels, these wheels provide noise reduction when rolling. Each of our systems can withstand 220lbs. The metal wheels for heavier doors are recommended if the total weight of the door(s) on the system is 150lbs and above. The metal wheels are sold separately on Amazon with part# provided below.
